Noel is a graduate of Seton Hall University (NJ, 2005) with a Bachelor’s in political science. She went on to pursue her Master’s in Social Work while working in various child welfare positions including foster care and prevention.


She went on to graduate with honors from New York University (NY) in 2010, a month after marrying her husband, Christopher. She spent her career dedicated to those without a voice. From child welfare to hospital settings and then the head of several group homes, she provided impeccable care and safety to all of the children in her charge. Just weeks before Jamesy’s diagnosis, Noel and Chris welcomed their first son, William.

At that time, Noel began her businesses to stay home with her son and have more flexibility. After Jamesy’s diagnosis, both Noel and Chris began supporting JAR of Hope in gratitude for the health of their son. Participating in events, fundraisers and any effort made to raise awareness for Jamesy. She welcomed another son, Christopher in 2017. Weeks after his birth, she signed up for her first marathon. During this time, Noel was chosen as the Mental Health Consultant of the city of New York Administration for Children’s Services. She also began her private practice work. Noel completed her first marathon in 2018 and then a second in 2019. She doubled her fundraising goal for each marathon of $5,000. In 2020, when the marathon was cancelled, she stayed committed to raising funds and met her goal of $5,000 and completed a half marathon that day with her husband in good faith. As a licensed clinical social worker, Noel is currently the owner and head clinician of Aurora Counseling Services in Staten Island, NY, a psychotherapy private practice with 6 therapists and multiple interns. She is the owner of a consulting firm that serves a tremendous population of early learn children In Brooklyn, NY. Noel also has and continues to facilitate the adoptions of countless children and provides child welfare consultation. She is highly recognized for her selfless acts of kindness and service. She is a dedicated mother and wife. She has accomplished these achievements all while continuing to raise funds and provide relentless support for Jamesy and children suffering with Duchenne. She credits her faith and gratefulness for her sons’ health as her “why”. A businesswoman, friend, mother and wife, she and her husband have raised more than 50,000 together for JAR of Hope. She is very grateful to begin her work on the board and is confident she will make tremendous strides towards a cure for Duchenne.
